Anyone can prove Galileo Lied with a camera and a body of water. In BC's beautiful Okanagan Valley, the Bennet Bridge that connects the city of Kelowna has a clearance of 59 feet at its highest point. According to Galileo's math, where he assumed a radius of 3959 miles, the bridge should be entirely hidden from a distance of just 10 miles. Go look!
